Meet the Artist
Chelsea Feidgan has always been surrounded by art, which inspired her to become an artist. Her mother, Beth, is also an artist - which led Chelsea to be involved in art since she was very young.
Chelsea spent her formative years in South Texas and the Big Island of Hawaii. She has been fortunate enough to live near the beach most of her life, and her artwork reflects the vibrant and tropical colors of the environment. Chelsea also has a strong interests in photography, jewelry, and printmaking, but her ultimate passion is painting.
Since graduating from the Art Institute of Houston with an associates in Computer Animation, that experience has infused her painting style with a comic flair. Chelsea has combined her background in cartoons and graphics with her paintings. After continuing her education at the University of Texas at Brownsville, she graduated with a bachelors degree in Studio Art. Chelsea resides on South Padre Island, and is one of the artists at South Padre Island's Art Business Incubator.
