Meet the Artist
Cecilia Garza was born and raised in South Texas, specifically McAllen. She is a self-taught artist/maker, who has always had a passion for creating.
Her work is created to inspire creativity, love, compassion, and encouragement, not only within our individual-selves, but also in the world around us. Cecilia is inspired by her amazing family and friends that surround her, along with the individuals she meets in everyday experiences and interactions.
She sees art as a story teller, and as a time machine into the past and a wish for the future. It’s a universal language that allows everyone to connect from worlds apart. Art invokes emotion and can help us to have empathy, love, and understanding.
